About Me

My photo
Dawn M
I used to live in Minnesota now we live in the geographic center of Florida. I’ve been married to the most wonderful man since 1981!! Since starting this blog I’ve done the breast cancer dance. Got chemo’ed almost to death, and have the permanent damage to prove it. My biggest loss is my brain. No, seriously. Many of the things I could do before chemo are impossible now. Documented brain damage. It’s so frustrating. I have no idea how to do the crafty things that I used to get paid for to teach! Oh well. I’ve finally figured out how to blog again. I’ve cut back on card making- my fine motor skills aren’t what they were. My latest addiction is quilting. I’ve sewn clothing since I learned how to in junior high. This quilting is a whole new ballgame. Making garments it’s a matter of ‘close enough’. Quilting is so precise! I had no idea that a “scant 1/4 inch” would be my nemesis!
